DISSOLVED: THE AMBER SURREALZATIONS
This is a preview video for the forthcoming Dissolved album “The Amber Surrealizations”. Following on from the recent release on Daddytank records “Snowy Psychoplasmics”, the music takes a stranger, more dissonant turn, forgotten dreams and distant radios, meshing electronic beats and droning melody with found sound and disintegrating cassette tapes. Featuring excerpts from each track on the album and edited and filmed by Dissolved.

This album gathers together rare tracks recorded on tape, aged, found and repaired equipment and some of Dissolved earliest computer based tracks, recorded between 1999 to 2003. It serves as a interesting look into the development of that early sound, taking in experimental ambient, drone, tape based synth music, sample based collage beat tracks and dark melodic experimental glitch. -
